As from Monday August 17, when transferring ownership of a vehicle, the signature on the sales document can also be attested at the registry offices (Anagrafe) of Turin City Council.
To complete the paperwork (registration and payment of relative taxes) the document must then be taken to one of the provincial ACI offices (Automobile Club Italia), to the 'Motorizzazione civile' (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency), to a recognised branch of the Automobile Club or to an automobile consultancy services agency.
