The subject of the third edition of FestivalStoria is 'Race': an issue that has left tragic marks on human history from the beginning of time.
While it is certainly a sadly up-to-date topic, its roots go back far into the past.
We can find traces of racial ideas in many civilizations, religions and political ideologies over the centuries, from one continent to another.
The festival includes conferences, discussion, interviews, a forum and a number of historical and present-day films will be shown, along with theatre productions, concerts and exhibitions.
The events are part of a project entitled 'What race do you belong to? A dangerous myth', to be held in Turin on October 10, and in Saluzzo and Savigliano (Cuneo) from October 11 to 14, 2007.
