The exhibition ‘Why Africa? The Pigozzi Collection’ opens at the Giovanni & Marella Agnelli Art Museum in Via Nizza 230 on October 6, 2007.
The exhibition, which closes February 3, 2008, is curated by André Magnin, artistic director of the Contemporary African Art Collection (the Pigozzi Collection).
Exhibited for the first time in Italy, it is part of the largest collection in the world of contemporary African art.
During the exhibition, concerts, shows, conferences and meetings will be held on the subject of Africa.
