The residence permit for parents over-fifty

According to the Viminale, descendants who are over fifty year old, in order to renew the residence permit for family reasons, should show a health insurance contract pursuant to the new regulations introduced by Legislative Decree no. 160 of 3 October 2008. Therefore, awaiting the issue of the Decree of the Ministry of Economy that will establish the fee for registering with the social security service for parents over fifty, the Ministry has introduced a few disposition to clarify the characteristics of the health insurance.

Decree of Flows 2008

Decree Law. 93/2008 has been published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale (Official Gazette - issue 124 dated 28/5/08), envisaging, as of 16 June, exemption from payment of ICI (Municipal property tax) for property used as the owner’s principle residence, as recorded in the Municipal registers, and related appurtenances, restricted to a single garage or parking space in category C6.
