A certificate of inhabitability [certificato di idoneità abitativa] certifies that the domicile of the foreign citizen possesses the minimum requisites of public residential housing as specified in the regional housing law.

If no such changes have occurred, the applicant required to exhibit the inhabitability certificate can exhibit an authentic copy of the original certificate exhibited previously.
Citizens residing in Turin and requiring an inhabitability certificate should contact the Foreigners' Office at no. 26 Via Cottolengo to request:
The hours for presentation of applications are: Tuesday and Thursday, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Certificates can be collected mornings: Monday 9.00-12.00, Tuesday 10.00-11.00, Wednesday 9.00-12.00, Thursday 10.00-11.00, Friday, 9.00-16.00.

Inhabitability certificates can also be requested from the local office of the National Health Service [ASL - Azienda Sanitaria Locale] in the area (Ufficio d'Igiene, via della Consolata 10).
