Last days: the benefits for rent payments

The competition notice for the “National Rent Benefit Fund as in art. 11 of Law 431/98” for years 2004/2005 has now been published.

All those with the right requirements, resident in Turin on July 13 2006 and needing help with the rent for the premises they live in can apply.

All residents with rented premises in the A2, A3, A4, A5 or A6 categories in 2004 and/or 2005, with a contract registered in their name who:

• had a taxable income, gross of the no-tax area, for the sum of 2004 and/or 2005 incomes of all family members included in the civil status certificate on July 13 2006, not exceeding 10,931.18 euro and paying at least 14% of said income in rent;
• or had a taxable income, gross of the no-tax area, for the sum of the 2004 and/or 2005 incomes of all family members included in the civil status certificate on July 13 2006, not exceeding the limit set for access to council housing, as indicated in the table below, and paying at least 24% of said income in rent.

The income considered is the family nucleus taxable income (gross of the no tax area) for years 2004 and/or 2005, minus 516.46 euro for each dependent child.

Applications must be filled in using the specific forms supplied free of charge by the Turin Administration:

• white for the year 2004,
• green for 2005

Different application forms will not be accepted.

These forms are available from the collection centres, the Administrative District offices and the Public Relations Office.

Applications can be presented to the 'Collection centres' from August 28th 2006 to September 29th 2006:

• Via Meucci n. 4, from Monday to Thursday from 8,30 – 12,30 / 13,30 – 15,30; on Friday from 8,30 – 13,30.
• Via S. Benigno n. 22, Tuesday and Thursday from 8,30 – 12,30 / 13,30 – 15 and Friday from 8,30 – 13,30.

Applications can also be posted (enclosing a copy of an identity document) by Registered letter with Return Recipe, by September 29th 2006, only to the following address:
