The regional women council has published five leaflets on women's health and against violence, printed in English, Rumanian, Chinese, Arabic, and Spanish.

The publications are aimed at foreign women who live in our region and are distributed to associations requesting them.

The first four leaflets are part of the Project 'Salute donna' (Health and women) and deal with:

• 'Pregnancy and giving birth'
• 'Contraception',
• 'Sexually transmitted infections'.

The title of the leaflet of the campaign against violence against women is:

• 'Fermiamo la violenza: uscire dal silenzio si può' (Let's stop violence: coming out of the silence is possible). Besides general basic information, the leaflets – enriched with colour photographs – provide precise indications and addresses of bodies and services women can turn to.

Each publication was printed in 5,000 copies per language (English, Rumanian, Chinese, Arabic, and Spanish). The leaflets will be delivered upon specific requests by the reference bodies, organisations, and associations of the foreign communities who live in Piedmont. They will also be distributed at the Regional Council URP, in via Arsenale 14 in Torino.
