Registering a birth

The birth of a child in Italy must be reported to the registrar’s office of the municipality or to the management of the hospital in which it occurs, within 10 days of the event. To make this report it is necessary to have a valid identification document and a birth certificate [certificato di nascita] issued by the hospital. No residency permit [permesso di residenza] is necessary.

Leaflets on women's health and against violence

The regional women council has published five leaflets on women's health and against violence, printed in English, Rumanian, Chinese, Arabic, and Spanish. The publications are aimed at foreign women who live in our region and are distributed to associations requesting them.

Maternity allowance and allowance for a family with at least three underage children
