[Health and well-being]Social security chequesArticle 20 of conversion law no. 133 of 6 August 2008 establishes that, to be entitled to claim social security cheques, foreign citizens must have lived in this country for at least 10 years. [2008.10.07]

WelfareWelfare is provided, at the same conditions as to Italian citizens, to all citizens in possession of a residency permit or card, with validity of at least one year, and duly registered address.
