The Inps-Inail Combined Contact Centre can be reached by calling 803.164 and supplies information in relation to regulations, procedures and single cases, both for the Inps and Inail.

It supplies information and services on line, automatically or through an operator, providing a 'virtual help line' at the service of the general public. The operators are available from Monday to Friday, from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m., and on Saturday from 800 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., while the automatic service (available in German in the province of Bolzano) is operational 24 hours a day, including Sundays and holidays.

The service is absolutely free.

Inps services:

• information on pensions, temporary services and contributions
• clarification and suspension of tax assessment, where applicable
• dispatching of duplicates of social security documents and certificates (insurance statement, payment statement, debt statement, payments, pension certificates, CUD (Single certificate of income as an employee), ...)
• on-line registration for workers with work contracts, domestic workers and housewives, and dispatch of payment slips for bills for domestic workers
• issue of the PIN (personal identification number)
• change in residential address
• state of applications and payments
• Inps office addresses and opening hours
• information also available in 7 foreign languages (German, English, French, Arabic, Polish, Spanish and Russian), using bilingual operators for foreign workers and non-EU citizens, with assistance for disabled users.

The contact centre sends the peripheral structures information on cases requiring further analysis by the Institute’s Head Office. The peripheral structures will contact the user within 48 hours of receipt of such information and supply all pertinent clarification.
