With the Circular of 17 February 2009, INPS communicates that as of 29 January 2009, domestic employers need to send to INPS (and not to the Job Centre) communications regard the employment, termination, changes and extension of the work contract. By doing so they comply with all law obligations towards the Competent Services of the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Policies, of INAIL and, for foreign workers, of the One-Stop-Shop at the Prefecture - UTG.
The Circular INPS 20 of 17.02.09 established the modalities and forms to be used for said communications, according to the provisions of art. 16 bis, paragraph 11, Law 2 of 28 January 2009.
Communications of employment should be presented or send by 12:00 midnight of the day, even if weekend or bank holiday, before the start of the employment contract. The communication regarding the changes, extension and termination of the work contract should be sent within 5 days from the date it occurred. The new forms should be used for said communications.
