 Geniale opera di Guarino Guarini, iniziata nel 1668 e portata a termine nel 1694, dopo la sua morte. Dipianta circolare e rivestita di marmi neri, culmina nella luminosa cupola conica, tra le pių alte creazioni barocche, a sei ordini di archi sovrapposti, con un traforo a stella nella parte terminale. Lungo le pareti spiccano i monumenti funebri innalzati da Carlo Alberto a quattro suoi antenati, mentre al centro della cappella č collocato il ricco altare di Antonio Bertola (1694), contenente la teca d'argento che racchiude la Sacra Sindone.
