Renato Guttuso-2 RENATO GUTTUSO. THE REVOLUTIONARY ART ON THE FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF '68
At the GAM, Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, from mid-February to 24 June, Renato Guttuso's major works of political and civil subjects will be on display, from the late 1930s to the Funerale di Togliatti (Funeral of Togliatti) of 1972 and the Comizio di Quartiere (Local Political Meeting) of 1975 . An exhibition dedicated to the artist's pictorial experience, which investigates the relationship between politics and culture on the centenary of the October Revolution.

Giorgio de Chirico-2 GIORGIO DE CHIRICO. MAJOR WORKS FROM THE COLLECTION OF FRANCESCO FEDERICO CERRUTI
The exhibition Giorgio de Chirico. Major works from the collection of Francesco Federico Cerruti presents, for the first time at Castello di Rivoli – from 6 March to 27 May - a selection of masterpieces by Giorgio de Chirico coming from the collection of Francesco Federico Cerruti. These works, so far hidden in the Villa Cerruti in Rivoli, are now available for public enjoyment.

Soundframes-2 SOUNDFRAMES
In the year celebrating the centenary of the birth of Leonard Bernstein, one of the twentieth century's leading composers and conductors - from 26 January 2018 to 7 January 2019 at the Mole Antonelliana National Cinema Museum - an exhibition investigating the complexity of the relationship between music and moving images and presenting edits of sequences taken from films, documentaries, making of, interviews with scholars, musicians, directors and composers.

Frank Horvat: storia di un fotografo-2 FRANK HORVAT: HISTORY OF A PHOTOGRAPHER
250 images created by Frank Horvat, together with thirty other images taken from his private collection. The exhibition - from 28 february 1 to May 20 in the Chiablese Rooms - illustrates the journey of the great photographer through the evolution of the photographic language itself and of its techniques.

Perfumum-2 PERFUMUM. THE PERFUMES OF HISTORY
At Palazzo Madama, Atelier Room, from 15 February to 21 May, a story on the evolution and plurality of the meanings of perfume, from Greek and Roman antiquity to the twentieth century, with over two hundred exhibits, including gold artefacts, glassware, porcelain and scientific papers and treatises. In addition to the contribution to the exhibition of Turin and national museums, of fundamental importance is the collaboration with the Musée International de la Parfumerie of Grasse.

Fatma Bukak FATMA BUCAK
At Fondazione Merz, from 7 March to 20 May, first major exhibition in an Italian museum by the artist Fatma Bucak. An innovative exhibition project, made up by photographic, sound, video, performance and scultural works, some of which created for that occasion. In that exhibition the artist proposes all the elements of her reaserch, investigating throughout a sequence of images, sound references and actions, the duality of thought, the weakness and reversibility of history.

Filippo de Pisis-2 FILIPPO DE PISIS. ECLECTIC CONNOISSEUR OF PAINTING, MUSIC AND POETRY
At the MEF, Ettore Fico Museum, from 24 January to 22 April 2018, an exhibition that highlights the long relationship between Filippo de Pisis and the pictorial sources of the present and the past. 150 works including paintings and drawings to focus on the complex world that characterises the artist's art passions and culture.

L'occhio magico di Mollino L’OCCHIO MAGICO DI CARLO MOLLINO. PHOTOGRAPHS 1934-1973
From 18 January to 13 May 2018 at CAMERA - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia, more than 500 photographs from the archives of Politecnico di Torino. The exhibition explores the relationship between Mollino and photography, highlighting its uniqueness and recurring features, from his first architectural photographs taken in the Thirties to the Polaroids he took during the last years of his life.

Gilberto Zorio-2 GILBERTO ZORIO
For the first time in a public museum, until 6 March the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea presents an important retrospective exhibition of the work of Gilberto Zorio , a pioneer of contemporary art and a leading figure in the Arte Povera movement. Curated by Marcella Beccaria and developed in dialogue with the artist himself, the display includes new installations and historical works.

I tesori esotici del duca-2 THE DUKE’S EXOTIC TRASURES. SELECTION OF EASTERN WORKS FROM AGLIĖ CASTLE
From 27 February to 3 June, at MAO Museo d’Arte Orientale, exhibition of some of the most significant works of Castello di Aglié Asian artifacts collection. These objects were collected by Tomaso di Savoia Duke of Genova and come mainly from China, Japan and Thailand.

Ferenc Pintèr-2 FERENC PINTÉR. THE PERFECT ILLUSTRATOR
From 24 January to 22 April, at the MEF, Ettore Fico Museum – OUTSIDE, a selection of over 150 works including colour illustrations, black and white sketches, chine and layout will trace the pictorial activity of Ferenc Pintér that ranges from posters made in opposition to the Soviet regime up to an important focus on the poetic illustrations of Pinocchio first published in 2011.

Metamorfosi METAMORPHOSES - LET EVERYTHING HAPPEN TO YOU
From 6 March to 24 June at Castello di Rivoli, the exhibition Metamorfosi – Let everything happen to you explore the experience of metamorphoses in the art. On display installations, sculptures, performance events, paintings and videos that invite the visitors to perceive what goes beyond the human word and can only express itself in nature.

Tino Sehgal TINO SEHGAL
Le OGR – Officine Grandi Riparazioni inaugurano il programma Arti Visive del 2018 con la mostra – dal 2 febbraio al 17 marzo - Tino Sehgal . Tino Sehgal è conosciuto in tutto il mondo per le sue elaborate azioni collettive che sfidano le tradizionali relazioni tra arte e spettatore; già Leone d’Oro alla Biennale di Venezia 2013, l’artista anglo tedesco torna per la prima volta in Italia con un progetto personale appositamente pensato per il Binario 1 delle OGR, dopo aver realizzato la mostra nel 2008 con la Fondazione Nicola Trussardi e aver rappresentato la Germania alla Biennale di Venezia del 2005.

Gianfranco Ferrè-2 GIANFRANCO FERRÈ. UNDER A DIFFERENT LIGHT. JEWELLERY AND ORNAMENTS
At palazzo Madama - Hall of the Senate, until 2 April, a world premiere of 200 jewel objects that cut across the entire creative narrative of the famous Italian fashion designer. Pins, necklaces, rings, bracelets, created for fashion shows dating from 1980 to 2007, tell a story that is complementary to the clothing and relative accessories.

Piranesi. La fabbrica dell'utopia PIRANESI. THE UTOPIA FACTORY
From 5 December to 11 March 2018 the Galleria Sabauda presents an exhibition of more than 150 works by Giovan Battista Piranesi, the great Venetian engraver and architect who applied Vedutism to his passion for the magnificent ruins in Rome, where he moved to in 1740. The works on show are on loan from the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice and Palazzo Braschi in Rome.

Si riallestisce la GAM THE GAM IS SET UP AGAIN. 1863-1965 HISTORY, MANAGEMENTS, VISIONS
From December 21st, a new exhibition of the collections of the GAM - Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, which abandons the thematic order to build an itinerary that recomposes the history of the first Civic Museum of Modern Art in Italy. The GAM offers the public a new exhibition highlighting the evolution of modern art in relation to the characteristics of its collections which, ultimately, reflect the history of the museum through the various successive managements and curatorships.

Un mistero svelato UN MISTERO SVELATO. THE PORTRAIT OF MASSIMO D’AZEGLIO
The outcome of research carried out on archive sources and documents, this small but important exhibition – until 11 March at the Wunderkammer GAM Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea - is an opportunity to learn about the investigation undertaken to reconstruct the history of a painting and understand its meaning in the culture of its time. The protagonist is a masterpiece of the Romantic culture known until now as the Self portrait of Massimo d’Azeglio.

Human bodies HUMAN BODIES. THE EXHIBITION
A journey to discover how our body works and above all how to preserve it by taking care of our health. The human body is the protagonist of the scientific exhibition at the Promotrice delle Belle Arti, from 25 November to 25 February 2018; a unique, entertaining and educational opportunity to get to know the human body, which for the first time allows the public access to scientific content hitherto reserved only for specialists.

Una nuova stagione espositiva alla GAM -Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea propone il secondo appuntamento della serie Archivi, con un omaggio a Sofu Teshigahara, autore de l'Ikebana realizzato nel 1960 nel giardino della Galleria d'Arte Moderna da poco inaugurata, e la mostra Strutture e stile , ideata da Michel Tapié e ospitata dal museo nel 1962. Alla GAM, fino al 18 marzo.

Hit parade 20116-2017 HIT PARADE 2016 - 2017
Al Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile, fino al 4 marzo, seconda edizione di Hit Parade, collettiva dei 30 artisti più rappresentativi di Paratissima, selezionati tra gli iscritti delle edizioni 2016 e 2017: trenta forme diverse di creatività, trenta artisti le cui opere dialogano con la collezione permanente del Mauto, a sua volta organizzata per raccontare la storia della creatività applicata alla mobilità e al car design.

Vero amore VERO AMORE. ITALIAN POP ART FROM THE GAM COLLECTIONS
The GAM – Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea presents a new display of Italian Pop Art works from its collections. A selection of some sixty works - by Schifano, Festa, Angeli, Rotella, Fioroni, Lombardo, Mauri, Mondino, and others - including paintings, sculptures and videos, this tour entitled Vero Amore (True Love) after Mario Schifano's 1962 work of the same name, reflects on the history of Pop Art in Italy.

Paranormal PARANORMAL. TONY OURSLER VS GUSTAVO ROL
The Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli continues its research on the subject of collecting and presents Paranormal. Tony Oursler vs Gustavo Rol . The exhibition is an ideal collection of works by the American artist and a selection of objects from his huge collection revolving around the occult, alongside the works in the city collections by the painter and psychic Gustavo Rol. From 3 November to 25 February 2018, Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli.

Ninja e samurai NINJA AND SAMURAI. MAGIC AND AESTHETICS. BUSHI PART TWO
About 200 works dating from the sixteenth to the twentieth centuries from private collections, artefacts never before exhibited, and works extraordinarily provided by the Museum of Oriental Art in Venice. The exhibition, at the MAO Museum of Oriental Art from 8 December to 2 April 2018, delves into the history of the most famous Japanese warriors, the samurai , and into the mystery surrounding the figure of the legendary shadow warriors, the ninja .

Prima che le piante avessero un nome PRIMA CHE LE PIANTE AVESSERO UN NOME. URIEL ORLOW
The PAV - Parco Arte Vivente presents Uriel Orlow's solo exhibition What plants were called before they had a name from 5 November to 18 March 2018. The project lies within a line of research by the PAV to explore Western oppression and indigenous resistance strategies within the colonial context and the effects these produce under the domain of today's multinational corporate capitalism. The exhibition brings Uriel Orlow back to Italy after his solo show Made / Unmade at the Castello di Rivoli in 2015.
