Mirò!-3 MIRÒ! DREAM AND COLOUR
The exhibition Mirò! Sogno e colore at Palazzo Chiablese, from 4 th October to 14 th January, is dedicated to one of the greatest exponent of the 1900s.130 works, mostly large oils, recall the last artistic period of the famous Catalan painter, featuring four-dimensional painting, scenography, great sculptures and mail art: Miró’s sinuous lines and sharp colours enable breathing in all the energy and power of the Mediterranean Sea.

Gilberto Zorio-2 GILBERTO ZORIO
For the first time in a public museum, from 2 November to 18 February 2018 the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea presents an important retrospective exhibition of the work of Gilberto Zorio , a pioneer of contemporary art and a leading figure in the Arte Povera movement. Curated by Marcella Beccaria and developed in dialogue with the artist himself, the display includes new installations and historical works.

Come una falena alla fiamma-2 LIKE A MOTH TO A FLAME
Come una Falena alla Fiamma (Like a Moth to a Flame) opens the programme of exhibitions at OGR  with over 70 works of contemporary art and hundreds of artefacts coming from many collections of Turin. The ambitious project is signed by three outstanding international curators, for the first time called to work together and interact with Turin and its important artistic heritage: Tom Eccles, Mark Rappolt and Liam Gillick. From 3 November to 14 January at OGR, Museo Egizio and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.

Odissee-2 ODISSEE. DIASPORAS, INVASIONS, TRAVELS, MIGRATIONS AND PILGRIMAGES
At Madama Palace in Torino, from 16 November 2017 to 19 February 2018, ethnographics and archeological finds, ancient ceramics, jewellery longobardic, metals and Indian miniature, weapons and armatures, ivory, ancient books, scientific and musical instruments, geographic maps, paintings, sculptures, glasses, Jewish silvers and textiles. The exhibition gets its inspiration from current events and intends to develop travel and migration themes.

Gianfranco Ferrè-2 GIANFRANCO FERRÈ. UNDER A DIFFERENT LIGHT. JEWELLERY AND ORNAMENTS
At palazzo Madama - Hall of the Senate, from October 12th to February to 19th 2018, a world premiere of 200 jewel objects that cut across the entire creative narrative of the famous Italian fashion designer. Pins, necklaces, rings, bracelets, created for fashion shows dating from 1980 to 2007, tell a story that is complementary to the clothing and relative accessories.

Piranesi. La fabbrica dell'utopia PIRANESI. THE UTOPIA FACTORY
From 5 December to 11 March 2018 the Galleria Sabauda presents an exhibition of more than 150 works by Giovan Battista Piranesi, the great Venetian engraver and architect who applied Vedutism to his passion for the magnificent ruins in Rome, where he moved to in 1740. The works on show are on loan from the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice and Palazzo Braschi in Rome.

J'arrive J’ARRIVE. NAPOLEON BONAPARTE. FIVE FACES OF TRIUMPH
An exhibition that has conquered the world has now come to Piedmont, to Palazzo Cavour, a historical venue that is set to become a new point of reference as a museum complex and cultural centre. The exhibition, from 28 October to 28 January 2018, in partnership with the Fondation Napoléon , celebrates the figure of Napoleon, inextricably linked to Turin and to Piedmont, the site of important historical events such as the great victory at Marengo in June 1800, a battle that shaped the destiny of this region.

Un mistero svelato UN MISTERO SVELATO. THE PORTRAIT OF MASSIMO D’AZEGLIO
The outcome of research carried out on archive sources and documents, this small but important exhibition – from 29 November to 25 February 2018 at the Wunderkammer GAM Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea - is an opportunity to learn about the investigation undertaken to reconstruct the history of a painting and understand its meaning in the culture of its time. The protagonist is a masterpiece of the Romantic culture known until now as the Self portrait of Massimo d’Azeglio.

Arrivano i paparazzi!-2 ARRIVANO I PAPARAZZI! PHOTOGRAPHERS AND STARS: FROM THE DOLCE VITA TO THE PRESENT
At CAMERA - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia, from 13 September to 7 January 2018, 150 pictures that retrace the history of "snatched photos", from La Dolce Vita to the present day, in Italy and the world, where the world is mainly, but not only, that of scandal and gossip.

Anna Boghiguian-2 ANNA BOGHIGUIAN
On the third floor of the Castello di Rivoli Manica Lunga, from 18th September to 7th January, the first retrospective dedicated to the Egyptian-Canadian artist of Armenian origins, Anna Boghiguian. Her works combine figures and written texts and derive from the observation of social conflicts in the contemporary world of globalization.

Human bodies HUMAN BODIES. THE EXHIBITION
Un viaggio per scoprire come funziona il nostro corpo e soprattutto come preservarlo prendendoci cura della nostra salute. Il corpo umano è il protagonista della mostra scientifica alla Promotrice delle Belle Arti, dal 25 novembre al 25 febbraio 2018; un’occasione unica, divertente e didattica per conoscere il corpo umano, che consente per la prima volta al pubblico l’accesso a contenuti scientifici finora riservati solo agli specialisti.

Cronache dal set: il cinema di Paolo Sorrentino CRONACHE DAL SET: IL CINEMA DI PAOLO SORRENTINO. FOTOGRAFIE DI GIANNI FIORITO
Quaranta fotografie che raccontano il cinema del premio Oscar partenopeo. In una carrellata di immagini si alternano, tra scenografie e pause di set, il giovane Papa Jude Law della serie The Young Pope , il protagonista de La Grande Bellezza Jep Gambardella interpretato da Toni Servillo, presente in mostra anche nei panni de Il Divo Giulio Andreotti, e Sean Penn, la rock star Cheyenne di This Must Be the Place . Art for excellece: l'arte della regola d'arte ART FOR EXCELLENCE: L’ARTE DELLA REGOLA D’ARTE
Dal 29 novembre al 17 dicembre, a Palazzo Carignano, sede del Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano, un’esposizione delle opere realizzate nell’ambito della terza edizione di Art for Excellence. Il Museo per la prima volta nella sua storia ospita - nell’Aula della Camera Italiana - una mostra d’arte contemporanea. La collaborazione tra il Museo e Art for Excellence nasce dall’idea di realizzare un ponte tra epoche e stili artistici differenti, nell’intento di proporre al pubblico un percorso espositivo ancora più fantasioso ed originale.

Hit parade 20116-2017 HIT PARADE 2016 - 2017
Al Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile, dal 24 novembre al 21 gennaio 2018, seconda edizione di Hit Parade, collettiva dei 30 artisti più rappresentativi di Paratissima, selezionati tra gli iscritti delle edizioni 2016 e 2017: trenta forme diverse di creatività, trenta artisti le cui opere dialogano con la collezione permanente del Mauto, a sua volta organizzata per raccontare la storia della creatività applicata alla mobilità e al car design.

Un taglio contemporaneo UN TAGLIO CONTEMPORANEO. CAPOLAVORI DALLA COLLEZIONE PERMANENTE
Il Castello di Rivoli, fino al 31, dicembre offre un affascinante viaggio di “ri-scoperta” dell’arte contemporanea in una residenza reale. I capolavori sono allestiti in dialogo con le sale auliche per offrire, attraverso l’arte, un percorso dagli albori della contestazione studentesca nel 1967-68 fino ai giorni nostri – dall’Italia alla Cina contemporanea.

Carlos Garaicoa CARLOS GARAICOA.EL PALACIO DE LAS TRES HISTORIAS
From 31 October to 4 February 2018, the Fondazione Merz presents a solo exhibition of Cuban artist Carlos Garaicoa, El Palacio de las Tres Historias . The original exhibition features large-scale installations, photographic works and videos exploring the theme of the city as an ideal space, a place for participation and the development of stories and prospects, with specific reference to Turin.

Una nuova stagione espositiva alla GAM -Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea propone il secondo appuntamento della serie Archivi, con un omaggio a Sofu Teshigahara, autore de l'Ikebana realizzato nel 1960 nel giardino della Galleria d'Arte Moderna da poco inaugurata, e la mostra Strutture e stile , ideata da Michel Tapié e ospitata dal museo nel 1962. Bestiale!-2 BESTIALE! ANIMAL FILM STARS
The Museo Nazionale del Cinema Mole Antonelliana celebrates animals on the silver screen with an exhibition organised in different sections, from 14 June to 8 January 2018. Photographs, posters, storyboards, set costumes and memorabilia dialogue with film clips in an engaging experience that bridges the distance between the spectator and the images on the screen.

Paranormal PARANORMAL. TONY OURSLER VS GUSTAVO ROL
The Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli continues its research on the subject of collecting and presents Paranormal. Tony Oursler vs Gustavo Rol . The exhibition is an ideal collection of works by the American artist and a selection of objects from his huge collection revolving around the occult, alongside the works in the city collections by the painter and psychic Gustavo Rol. From 3 November to 25 February 2018, Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli.

Giovanni Da Pisa GIOVANNI DA PISA. UN POLITTICO DA RICOSTRUIRE
Quattro tavole tavole - San Leonardo e Santa Chiara , Sant’Agata e la Madonna col Bambino - attribuite al pittore ligure d’inizio Quattrocento Giovanni da Pisa - restaurate presso il Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale” - e originariamente appartenenti a un medesimo polittico, sono ricomposte per la prima volta a Palazzo Madama, dal 25 ottobre al 5 febbraio 2018, in Sala Acaia, in occasione di una mostra itinerante che prende avvio da Palazzo Madama e proseguirà ai Musei Civici di Pavia e al Museo Diocesano di Genova.

Vero amore VERO AMORE. ITALIAN POP ART FROM THE GAM COLLECTIONS
The GAM – Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea presents a new display of Italian Pop Art works from its collections. A selection of some sixty works - by Schifano, Festa, Angeli, Rotella, Fioroni, Lombardo, Mauri, Mondino, and others - including paintings, sculptures and videos, this tour entitled Vero Amore (True Love) after Mario Schifano's 1962 work of the same name, reflects on the history of Pop Art in Italy.

Sanya Kantarovski SANYA KANTAROVSKY. LETDOWN
The Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo presents Sanya Kantarovsky's first European solo exhibition, from 3 November to 14 January 2018. The exhibition starts with a typical Soviet-era apartment block, the Khrushchyovka , and presents a series of paintings that portray their psychological implications. The artist continues his study of the psychological impact of architecture on collective and individual experiences.

Giansone GIANSONE. SCULTURE DA INDOSSARE
On show at Palazzo Madama - Sala Atelier, from 5 October to 29 January 2018, some thirty micro-sculpture masterpieces, conceived as decorative objects for the home but also to be worn by the many beautiful ladies who Mario Giansone frequented and admired. Artist and teacher, Giansone sculpted, designed, painted, engraved and created tapestries with his own very individual style, suspended between succinct figurativeness and pure abstraction.

Elisa Sighicelli. Doppio sogno ELISA SIGHICELLI. DOPPIO SOGNO
A Palazzo Madama, dal 1° novembre al 29 gennaio 2018 , un percorso tra le sale del Barocco, per le quali l’artista Elisa Sighicelli ha concepito delle opere inedite e specifiche, ispirate all’architettura di Palazzo Madama. Al centro di questa ricerca la relazione tra l’architettura e la luce. Attraverso il suo lavoro Elisa Sighicelli compie un’indagine intorno al linguaggio artistico e fotografico, alle modalità di rappresentazione e di percezione della realtà.

Ninja e samurai NINJA E SAMURAI. MAGIA ED ESTETICA. BUSHI PARTE SECONDA
Circa 200 opere databili tra il XVI e XX secolo provenienti da collezioni private, manufatti mai esposti prima d’ora, e opere concesse straordinariamente dal Museo d’Arte Orientale di Venezia. La mostra, al MAO Museo d’Arte Orientale, dall’8 dicembre al 2 aprile 2018, si addentra nella storia dei guerrieri giapponesi più conosciuti, i samurai , e nel mistero che circonda la figura dei leggendari guerrieri ombra, i ninja .

Prima che le piante avessero un nome PRIMA CHE LE PIANTE AVESSERO UN NOME. URIEL ORLOW
The PAV - Parco Arte Vivente presents Uriel Orlow's solo exhibition What plants were called before they had a name from 5 November to 18 March 2018. The project lies within a line of research by the PAV to explore Western oppression and indigenous resistance strategies within the colonial context and the effects these produce under the domain of today's multinational corporate capitalism. The exhibition brings Uriel Orlow back to Italy after his solo show Made / Unmade at the Castello di Rivoli in 2015.

Niki De Saint Phalle NIKI DE SAINT PHALLE
At the MEF - Museo Ettore Fico, from 4 October to 14 January 2018, an exhibition of works by Niki de Saint Phalle, founder of the Nouveau Réalisme movement in France in the second half of the 20 th century and its only female member. She was a symbol, not only for avant-garde art but also, as an ante-litteram feminist, for women's liberation.

La magia dell'impasto MILLE E UNA STORIA. LA MAGIA DELL’IMPASTO. ISLAMIC CERAMICS FROM THE MAO'S STORAGE FACILITY
18 ceramic objects including tableware and tiles, and the 14 th century treatise written in Iran by Abu'l-Qasim will be on display at the MAO - Museo d'Arte Orientale from 17 November to 21 January 2018. The exhibition, called La magia dell’impasto (The magic of the mixture) offers visitors a new perspective and an opportunity to discover more of the Museum's artistic heritage. The exhibition is part of the Mille e una storia (A thousand and one tales) series and follows on from the extremely popular Luce sui bronzi (Light on bronze) display held earlier this year.

Un evento espositivo unico nel suo genere: i Tarocchi, dalla loro nascita in Italia intorno alla metà del Quattrocento fino ai giorni nostri, rivelati attraverso un ricchissimo repertorio di mazzi antichi e moderni, libri, stampe, documenti, immagini e testi – su oltre mille metri quadri di esposizione. Peter Lindbergh PETER LINDBERGH. A DIFFERENT VISION ON FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY
The exhibition at the Reggia di Venaria from 7 October to 4 February 2018 presents 220 of the best photographs by Peter Lindbergh, regarded as one of the most influential fashion photographers of our time. In his elegant shots he immortalised the models who ruled the world of fashion in the late 20 th century: from Cindy Crawford to Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista, launching the "era of top models". The exhibition is produced by Kunsthal Rotterdam in collaboration with the curator Thierry-Maxime Loriot and Peter Lindbergh.

Missione Egitto 1903 - 1920-2 MISSIONE EGITTO 1903 -1920. L’AVVENTURA ARCHEOLOGICA M.A.I. RACCONTATA
At the Egyptian Museum, until 14 January 2018, the story of the M.A.I., the Italian Archaeological Mission, and its founder Ernest Schiaparelli. A display of 400 objects including archaeological finds, documents, letters, videos, photos and historical posters, spread through 9 sections, taking visitors back to the time of those archaeological discoveries that formed the basis for the collection of the Egyptian Museum.

Le invenzioni di Grechetto THE INVENTIONS OF GRECHETTO
At the Savoy Gallery, until 21 January 2018, a selection of etchings coming from the Gallery’s collection of graphic art. The exhibition highlights the inexhaustible inventiveness of Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione, known as Grechetto, a prominent figure in the Genoese school of baroque.

Caravaggio experience-2 CARAVAGGIO EXPERIENCE
A show of screenings and music lasting about 50 minutes in a continuous cycle without interruption, evoking 57 works by Michelangelo Merisi. A unique experience also on a sensory level, by means of an actual “immersion” in the art of the 17 th century master. Until 28 January 2018, at the Citroniera Juvarriana in the Reggia di Venaria.

Giacomo Grosso GIACOMO GROSSO. A SEASON BETWEEN PAINTING AND ACADEMY
The second appointment in the cycle I maestri dell’Accademia Albertina (The Masters of the Albertina Academy) follows the exhibition of Andrea Gastaldi's works organised by the Pinacoteca l’Accademia Albertina in partnership with the Museo di Arti Decorative Accorsi – Ometto. The exhibition, at the Museo di Arti Decorative Accorsi – Ometto from 28 September to 7 January 2018, is an opportunity for reflection and to learn more about Giacomo Grosso: a comprehensive itinerary that covers the history, life and art of this Master of the Albertina Academy.

Lady Diana LADY DIANA. A FREE SPIRIT
A special architectural space - the Rooms of the Pages at the Reggia di Venaria - has been chosen to pay tribute to Lady Diana - a global icon - with an exhibition, from 8 July to 28 January 2018, that represents a journey through our history: Diana has become a symbol of femininity and strength, embodying the paradoxes and many facets of every woman.

Luigi Serralunga LUIGI SERRALUNGA BETWEEN SYMBOLISM AND ART NOUVEAU
A rich selection of significant works by Luigi Serralunga is on show at the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, from 20 October to 18 February 2018, with portraits of the 19 th century nobility, paintings of hunting scenes and still lifes. The exhibition establishes a direct link between the artist's poetics and the practice of hunting and, above all, with the spirit that once filled the Stupinigi Hunting Lodge.

Giovannni Boldini GIOVANNI BOLDINI
From 29 July to 28 January 2018, at the Reggia di Venaria, more than 100 masterpieces featuring oils and pastels: a vast and spectacular collection of works by Giovanni Boldini and his contemporaries. The exhibition retraces Boldini's brilliant artistic career, not only as a visionary precursor of 20 th century modernity but also as an artist whose works have paid tribute to and portrayed women's beauty, unveiling the most intimate and mysterious side of the noblewomen of the time.

Cinzano: da Torino al mondo CINZANO: FROM TURIN TO THE WORLD. A VOYAGE TO DISCOVER AN ITALIAN ICON
Cinzano, an icon of Vermouth and Spumante, celebrates its 260 th anniversary in 2017. To mark this important occasion, it has organised an exhibition at the Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano, from 5 October to 14 January 2018, featuring some of its most famous artworks, including: The God Pan by Adolfo Hohenstein, Zebra and Woman leaning on a bunch of grapes by Leonetto Cappiello, Cinzano, the perfect cocktail by Jean-Pierre Otth, and iconic objects that retrace the brand's rich history.

Salgari SALGARI. IL VIAGGIO CONTINUA
Fino al 18 febbraio 2018 Emilio Salgari torna protagonista al Borgo Medievale grazie a una mostra che da un lato evidenzia i legami tra la vita e l’opera dello scrittore e la città di Torino e parallelamente mira a documentare e approfondire due aspetti della sua produzione: il successo e la popolarità delle opere, vista attraverso una selezione di titoli emblematici, e gli innumerevoli adattamenti, trasposizioni e passaggi nei media.
