Chiesa di San Massimo

The construction is an example of the Neo-Classical style. It was built in the years 1844-53 by Carlo Sada and dedicated to the first bishop of Turin. In the Baptistry built by Cesare Reduzzi, the altarpiece portrays the Natività della Vergine by Legnanino (1707). The apse contains a fresco by Francesco Gonin (1853) which depicts San Massimo recitante nella Cattedrale al Popolo di Torino ( Saint Massimo reciting in the Cathedral to the populace of Turin).
