Chiesa di Santa croce

The church was built for the Augustinian monks to a design attributed to Filippo Juvarra ( 1718-1730 ). The façade, which had already been designed by the famous architect from Messina, was only completed in the second half of the 19th century. The main altar is decorated by the great Deposizione executed by Claudio Francesco Beaumont in 1731.
