The Urban Commons Office of the City of Torino has been created to manage, monitor and assess activities of shared management of urban commons, according to the Regulation n. 391.

Its main tasks are as follows:

  • ensure the foreseen publication and communication on Pacts of collaboration, during every ongoing phase and on every appropriate channel;
  • promote information and dissemination of all matters about Urban Commons towards citizens;
  • examinate all proposals of shared management and assess their consistency with the Regulation n. 391;
  • summon the Board meetings to assess project proposals and to appoint the relevant City Director for each of them;
  • coordinate paths towards the signature of Pacts of collaboration, supporting the action of proponents and other involved City Depts.
